A little trouble getting AGILE going at the beginning of the night. The ICC wasn't running after resetAgile. But we were able to run AGILE via TUI and flats looked good. The TUI log spits out several warning message with every AGILE exposure. Example: 09:45:14 UW09.Eric.agileExpose 27 agile i expStatus=expDone,object,10.0,1,2,2008-12-20T09:45:04.000,10.0,0.0,"/export/images/Q4UW09/UT081220/try.0208.fits" 09:45:14 UW09.Eric 248 agileExpose w debug="newstateRaw:['expDone', 'object', '10.0', '1', '2', '2008-12-20T09:45:04.000', '10.0', '0.0', '\"/export/images/Q4UW09/UT081220/try.0208.fits\"']:" 09:45:14 UW09.Eric.agileExpose 27 agile i expStatus=integrating,object,10.0,2,2,2008-12-20T09:45:14.000,10.0,9.9,"" 09:45:14 UW09.Eric 248 agileExpose w debug="finishing file /export/images/Q4UW09/UT081220/try.0208.fits with status=(33204, 107462820, 2081L, 1, 505, 10000, 529920, 1229766314, 1229766314, 1229766314),529920 at 1229766314.5890" 09:45:14 UW09.Eric 248 agileExpose w debug=" _finishExposure cnt=2 cntDone=0 state=running expstate=integrating" 09:45:14 UW09.Eric 248 agileExpose i agileFiles="UW09.Eric","hub35m.apo.nmsu.edu","/export/images/","Q4UW09/UT081220/","",try.0208.fits 09:45:14 UW09.Eric 248 agileExpose w debug=" _startExposure cnt=2 cntDone=1 state=running expstate=integrating" Heavy overcast skies all first half, thinning somewhat second half. We opened at 02:20 to try to get something. Skies were never clear but bright objects were observable. Used autofocus on NA2 guider, seemed to work well. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM ----------------------------------------------------------------- ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------- 16:00 34 2 16 263 (W) 347 cloudy none 17:00 33 7 8 260 (W) 216 cloudy none 18:00 32 9 12 224 (SW) 232 cloudy none 19:00 33 3 14 270 (W) 251 cloudy none 20:00 33 9 13 277 (W) 316 cloudy none 21:00 33 12 18 258 (WSW) 429 cloudy none 22:00 32 17 14 268 (W) 549 cloudy none 23:00 31 18 11 265 (W) 589 cloudy none 00:00 31 20 16 278 (W) 638 cloudy none 01:00 31 14 16 281 (W) 453 cloudy none 02:00 30 15 16 265 (W) 454 ptly cldy none 03:00 30 12 11 265 (W) 436 ptly cldy none 04:00 31 6 18 267 (W) 356 mstly clr none 05:00 32 -1 12 273 (W) 408 mstly clr none 06:00 32 -6 17 273 (W) 411 mstly clr none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
