The night started out with 2+ arc sec seeing and got worse thru the night to over 4 arc sec seeing. Seeing was also very variable which made using the autofocus script near impossible. I reset the rotator for Fritz at the midnight changeover. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (STEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM ----------------------------------------------------------------------- 17:09 APOLLO 100(843) 31 47 3.6 4.6 5.2 3.8 3.8 -- 2 18:19 DISSlit 100(-140) 7 57 2.4 3.2 3.9 2.6 2.6 -- 2.3 18:25 NA2gdr -959(22000) 4 58 2.1 3.0 3.6 2.3 2.2 R 2.3 22:00 DISSlit -24(-482) -12 56 -1.8 -1.3 -1.2 -2.2 -1.8 -- 2.2 00:05 DISSlit -112(-620) 19 55 -1.9 -2.4 -2.2 -2.9 -2.5 -- 4+ ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------- 16:00 40 19 20 269 (W) 3209 cirrus none 17:00 39 15 26 269 (W) 5151 cirrus none 18:00 37 13 25 270 (W) 3999 clear none 19:00 34 11 14 306 (NW) 4588 clear none 20:00 32 7 14 351 (N) 2244 clear none 21:00 30 3 15 2 (N) 1162 clear none 22:00 29 2 13 356 (N) 950 clear none 23:00 28 0 17 359 (N) 965 clear none 00:00 29 3 14 354 (N) 1059 clear none 01:00 30 5 17 343 (NNW) 1507 clear none 02:00 30 8 15 349 (N) 1216 clear none 03:00 27 0 17 5 (N) 1083 clear none 04:00 28 1 16 355 (N) 1147 clear none 05:00 28 -2 5 331 (NNW) 765 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
