Russet logged in to investigate but it was not entirely clear. She will look into this tomorrow during the day. Second half observer had a time critical object at the beginning of the shift. Nimble was locked up. We could not log into it at all, so Nimble was power-cycled. This resulted in Agile's filesystem not being mounted on Newton. Called Fritz and he logged in Newton to fix. Anjum was also logged into TUI. There was a lot of confusion about what needed to be done when Nimble crashes. The AGILE recovery procedures need to include instructions on remounting the filesystem on Newton. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- UW02 P I/S 00:24 00:37 Nimble crash. ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM ----------------------------------------------------------------- 17:48 dis-slit -162(-203) 10 58 4.3 7.1 5.5 5.3 4.8 1.35 19:41 dis-slit -185(-338) 20 55 3.9 4.8 4.2 2.6 3.9 1.28 22:09 dis-slit -128(-318) -30 52 4.6 4.1 4.5 3.4 4.5 1.18 00:23 NA2gdr -1(10998) 131 50 4.4 4.0 4.2 3.0 3.9 0.98 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------- 16:00 44 13 9 4 (N) 1132 mstly clr none 17:00 41 14 5 18 (NNE) 1165 mstly clr none 18:00 41 9 6 12 (NNE) 779 mstly clr none 19:00 39 11 6 1 (N) 825 mstly clr none 20:00 40 12 6 354 (N) 925 mstly clr none 21:00 40 13 5 280 (W) 1021 mstly clr none 22:00 40 12 6 259 (W) 805 mstly clr none 23:00 41 11 8 261 (W) 927 mstly clr none 00:00 39 17 7 289 (WNW) 1817 mstly clr none 01:00 41 16 12 306 (NW) 1368 ptly cldy none 02:00 40 10 17 320 (NW) 907 ptly cldy none 03:00 40 12 12 304 (NW) 1148 ptly cldy none 04:00 39 16 15 296 (WNW) 1332 ptly cldy none 05:00 39 17 10 301 (WNW) 1504 ptly cldy none 06:00 39 16 11 311 (NW) 1639 ptly cldy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
