The higher winds from the north led to moderate to poor seeing that was quite variable. This made these measurements somewhat unuseful. Shortly after this the winds grew much stronger and the cirrus became thicker. We closed shortly after 21:00. We never opened the remainder of the night. I used the time to run some test with the new agile icc as well as reducing some fastcam data. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM ----------------------------------------------------------------------- 18:45 TSPEC 100( 366) 172 65 7.6 7.4 7.3 7.2 7.4 Ks 1.72 19:06 NA2gdr 912(34912) 179 65 7.9 7.5 7.7 7.6 7.7 clear 1.91 19:24 TSPEC 25( 299) 185 65 7.9 7.6 7.8 7.6 7.7 Ks 1.47 19:46 TSPEC 25( 302) 192 64 8.1 7.7 7.9 7.7 7.8 Ks 1.38 19:46 NA2gdr 810(34810) 192 64 8.1 7.7 8.0 7.7 7.9 clear 1.32 19:49 TSPEC 25( 308) 193 64 8.2 7.8 8.1 7.8 8.0 Ks 1.38 19:51 NA2gdr 2918(36918) 193 64 8.3 7.8 8.1 7.8 8.0 clear 1.47 19:58 TSPEC 25( 308) 195 64 8.1 7.8 8.0 7.8 8.0 Ks 1.23 20:00 NA2gdr 1941(35941) 196 64 8.0 7.8 8.0 7.8 7.9 clear 1.61 20:06 TSPEC 25( 308) 197 63 8.2 7.8 8.1 7.8 8.0 Ks 1.13 20:06 NA2gdr 321(34321) 197 63 8.2 7.8 8.1 7.8 8.0 clear 1.22 20:09 TSPEC 25( 310) 198 63 8.2 7.8 8.1 7.8 8.0 Ks 1.28 20:12 NA2gdr 2931(36931) 199 63 8.3 7.8 8.1 7.8 8.1 clear 1.33 20:24 TSPEC 25( 311) 202 62 8.2 7.8 8.1 7.7 7.9 Ks 1.18 20:25 NA2gdr 2722(36722) 202 62 8.3 7.9 8.2 7.8 8.1 clear 1.43 21:04 TSPEC 42( 330) 210 58 8.0 7.8 8.1 7.6 7.8 Ks 1.06 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------- 16:00 45 24 15 12 (NNE) 634 mstly clr none 17:00 46 23 29 2 (N) 414 mstly clr none 18:00 46 23 33 21 (NNE) 251 ptly cldy none 19:00 47 23 18 10 (N) 220 ptly cldy none 20:00 47 24 15 355 (N) 179 ptly cldy none 21:00 46 25 33 19 (NNE) 217 mstly clr none 22:00 47 25 28 29 (NNE) 210 mstly clr none 23:00 49 24 18 33 (NNE) 124 mstly cldy none 00:00 47 24 28 13 (NNE) 186 cloudy none 01:00 45 24 27 20 (NNE) 176 cloudy none 02:00 45 23 31 17 (NNE) 138 cloudy none 03:00 45 22 30 21 (NNE) 152 cloudy none 04:00 45 20 43 13 (NNE) 133 cloudy none 05:00 47 17 34 29 (NNE) 104 cloudy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
