High winds and blowing snow kept us closed the entire night. We saw one failure in tertiary rotation going to Apollo last night. The errors were small but the clamp failed to close. Rehoming seemed to correct the problem. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM ----------------------------------------------------------------- ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------- 16:00 29 14 19 272 (W) 11257 cloudy none 17:00 27 15 30 268 (W) 5776 cloudy humid 18:00 24 13 36 279 (W) 19010 cloudy humid 19:00 21 9 35 271 (W) 24555 cloudy snow 20:00 15 14 8 305 (NW) 2288 cloudy lt snow 21:00 11 11 21 9 (N) 531 cloudy lt snow 22:00 9 6 25 330 (NNW) 465 cloudy humid 23:00 9 2 30 333 (NNW) 561 cloudy humid 00:00 9 3 14 349 (N) 704 mstly cldy humid 01:00 7 2 27 311 (NW) 469 mstly clr none 02:00 6 0 23 326 (NW) 593 mstly clr none 03:00 6 -1 15 315 (NW) 609 clear none 04:00 5 -3 16 341 (NNW) 334 clear none 05:00 4 -3 6 31 (NNE) 428 clear none 06:00 4 -4 31 17 (NNE) 815 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
