Scattered to broken clouds continued to bother us throughout the night. The first half observer gave up and handed the remainder of their time to the next group due to faint targets and poor seeing. No other problems tonight. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM ---------------------------------------------------------------------- 21:14 dis-slit -100(-489) 125 76 -0.7 -1.8 -1.2 -2.2 -1.7 -- 2.80 23:17 dis-slit 5( -366) 265 77 -0.4 -1.4 -0.7 -1.6 -0.9 -- 1.70 23:53 SPICAM 64( -154) 262 69 -0.7 -1.4 -0.7 -1.7 -1.2 r 1.30 23:57 NA2gdr -1500(30600) 263 67 -0.6 -1.4 -0.7 -1.8 -1.2 R+nd2 1.03 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions --------------------------------------------------------------------- 16:00 33 11 25 154 (SSE) 1173 cloudy none 17:00 30 11 9 142 (SE) 918 cloudy none 18:00 27 12 9 172 (S) 1418 cloudy none 19:00 27 14 10 114 (ESE) 2158 cloudy none 20:00 30 15 14 175 (S) 2181 cloudy none 21:00 27 14 3 179 (S) 2071 mstly clr none 22:00 31 16 14 169 (S) 2462 ptly cldy none 23:00 31 16 11 178 (S) 2489 ptly cldy none 00:00 30 15 8 181 (S) 2565 clear none 01:00 31 15 12 180 (S) 2733 mstly clr none 02:00 31 16 9 189 (S) 3390 clear none 03:00 33 15 8 228 (SW) 2424 ptly cldy none 04:00 36 13 6 255 (WSW) 1459 mstly cldy none 05:00 37 13 11 266 (W) 1469 mstly cldy none 06:00 37 13 11 266 (W) 1091 mstly cldy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
