Pointing seemed adequate (with DIS, which has a large enough field of view to be forgiving), but magnesensor errors were still large. DIS will be left mounted during the day for the use of the class on-site. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM ------------------------------------------------------------------------ 05:14 dis-slit -119( 200) 205 57 11.2 11.9 13.0 11.0 11.1 - 1.2 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------- 16:00 64 51 23 192 (SSW) 695 mstly cldy none 17:00 61 49 21 177 (S) 761 mstly cldy none 18:00 59 51 12 183 (S) 959 mstly cldy none 19:00 57 52 12 194 (SSW) 1004 mstly cldy none 20:00 55 53 21 140 (SE) 1137 mstly cldy humid 21:00 55 52 27 153 (SSE) 1015 mstly cldy rain 22:00 53 52 25 151 (SSE) 958 mstly cldy lt rain 23:00 53 51 26 152 (SSE) 870 mstly cldy humid 00:00 51 50 26 143 (SE) 740 mstly cldy humid 01:00 52 49 26 161 (SSE) 743 mstly cldy humid 02:00 52 50 24 177 (S) 872 mstly cldy lt rain 03:00 51 48 18 180 (S) 615 mstly cldy humid 04:00 53 44 20 182 (S) 401 ptly cldy none 05:00 53 43 14 184 (S) 457 ptly cldy none 06:00 52 43 12 218 (SW) 372 ptly cldy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
