I adjusted the pointing (tertiary tilts) for the echelle port, updated some PRs, nailed the instrument block for CorMASS (probably the best it has ever been!), and did some pickup science observations in the guise of testing out CorMASS, echelle, and DIS. I also played with the Shack-Hartmann for a while, tuning tracking, adjusting the tertiary tilts for the port, and getting a nice altitude sweep. DIS red side warmed up during first half and then cooled by itself; possibly there may be something wrong with the cryotiger compressor. Unfortunately, it wasn't quite settled down when I wanted to repeat my throughput observations at lower airmass, so I'll hope to get another shot at throughput in the coming nights. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM ------------------------------------------------------------------------ ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------- 16:00 65 39 10 303 (WNW) 0 clear none 17:00 65 37 13 21 (NNE) 0 clear none 18:00 65 35 6 62 (ENE) 0 clear none 19:00 63 33 3 16 (NNE) 0 clear none 20:00 61 33 7 12 (NNE) 0 clear none 21:00 58 33 6 2 (N) 0 clear none 22:00 59 32 5 42 (NE) 0 clear none 23:00 62 27 14 37 (NE) 0 clear none 00:00 61 26 10 32 (NNE) 0 clear none 01:00 61 26 6 62 (ENE) 0 clear none 02:00 63 30 0 297 (WNW) 0 clear none 03:00 61 28 1 240 (WSW) 0 clear none 04:00 60 34 1 116 (ESE) 0 clear none 05:00 62 31 0 201 (SSW) 0 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
