Davenport Opened right at startup and was shutdown by clouds. Clouds cleared and humidity came down enough to open around 03:30. Pointing was a bit off 1st half, but decided to work through it. 2nd half pointing seemed worse. Ran na2point but didn't see much improvement after set inst=dis. Had to run 3 times until we got better pointing. Seems that we have had lots of pointing troubles in the past month... By the time I got us pointed and focused the humidity came back up and we closed again... an ill fated night. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM ---------------------------------------------------------------------- 20:58 DISslit -21(528) 107 57 15.9 17.9 16.4 17.2 13.4 - 1.1 03:36 DISslit -64(348) -13 67 13.7 14.1 13.2 14.1 13.4 - 1.2 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------- 16:00 67 54 16 192 (SSW) 874 ptly cldy none 17:00 67 55 13 188 (S) 788 ptly cldy none 18:00 64 52 15 179 (S) 727 mstly clr none 19:00 63 51 12 175 (S) 636 mstly clr none 20:00 61 51 12 179 (S) 470 mstly clr none 21:00 61 49 13 199 (SSW) 387 clear none 22:00 61 49 10 187 (S) 394 ptly cldy none 23:00 61 50 10 181 (S) 406 cloudy none 00:00 61 50 19 184 (S) 467 mstly cldy lt rain 01:00 59 51 17 178 (S) 530 ptly cldy none 02:00 56 54 14 134 (SE) 568 ptly cldy none 03:00 57 52 15 182 (S) 271 clear none 04:00 56 51 15 169 (S) 285 clear humid Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
