Davenport Tonight is my last scheduled night to be the obs-spec. Mostly smooth sailing. Opened on time, first half went fine. Had to close from 02:13 till 04:05 for high humidity. Dewpoint-diff leveled off at ~2.9 at about 4am and stayed there, so we opened back up. But partial clouds kept us from getting any science, gave up at 5:10. No problems found! ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM ---------------------------------------------------------------------- 20:30 DISslit -113(437) 106 60 15.1 18.0 16.7 17.1 15.4 - 1.5 04:11 DISslit 22(411) 28 54 12.8 12.7 12.8 13.5 12.6 - 1.2 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------- 16:00 66 38 8 88 (E) 649 clear none 17:00 67 40 12 55 (NE) 659 clear none 18:00 66 42 12 108 (ESE) 700 clear none 19:00 63 46 10 105 (ESE) 888 clear none 20:00 60 47 11 82 (E) 1066 clear none 21:00 59 47 14 86 (E) 1105 mstly clr none 22:00 58 48 16 74 (ENE) 1120 mstly clr none 23:00 58 48 20 78 (ENE) 1483 ptly cldy none 00:00 58 49 22 76 (ENE) 1525 clear none 01:00 56 50 15 79 (E) 1865 clear none 02:00 55 50 18 78 (ENE) 2059 ptly cldy humid 03:00 54 51 20 75 (ENE) 2197 mstly clr humid 04:00 55 50 20 83 (E) 2142 ptly cldy none 05:00 55 50 10 80 (E) 2142 ptly cldy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
