Davenport Lots of rain in the day. Fairly high humidity and clouds kept us closed all first half, UW observer called it quits around midnight. Clouds cleared enough to open on time for 2nd half, but had a major pointing problem. By the time Russet helped me get it corrected clouds had returned. Of course when the clouds started to part, humidity shot up and dewpoint fell. We were open long enough to get 1 short exposure. Humidity kept us closed rest of the night. No other problems, called it quits at 04:50. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- UV03/R E - 01:20 01:50 Echelle Pointing Adjustment ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM ---------------------------------------------------------------------- 02:10 Ecam -80(-525) 201 68 12.7 12.8 12.4 12.9 12.6 ND2 0.9 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------- 16:00 59 50 10 82 (E) 936 cloudy rain 17:00 55 51 11 85 (E) 1156 cloudy lt rain 18:00 57 51 9 85 (E) 1615 cloudy lt rain 19:00 57 52 10 80 (E) 1663 mstly cldy lt rain 20:00 56 52 0 354 (N) 1508 mstly cldy lt rain 21:00 57 50 8 86 (E) 1657 mstly cldy lt rain 22:00 57 50 1 155 (SSE) 1727 mstly cldy lt rain 23:00 55 51 6 104 (ESE) 1959 mstly cldy lt rain 00:00 55 51 3 99 (E) 1865 mstly cldy lt rain 01:00 56 50 1 256 (WSW) 1816 ptly cldy lt rain 02:00 56 50 4 348 (NNW) 1660 mstly cldy lt rain 03:00 53 51 1 30 (NNE) 1681 ptly cldy lt rain 04:00 52 50 3 4 (N) 1813 mstly clr lt rain Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
