Second half, the wind dropped and radar returns faded, and the clouds thinned enough to shoot through at least part of the time, so we opened. Seeing was pretty poor, but the observer was able to get data on several targets. I lost the focus information due to a computer crash. APOLLO was able to do some on-sky work, but got no returns due to a combination of clouds and poor seeing. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM ---------------------------------------------------------------------- 01:55 DISslit -7(-528) 2.5 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------- 16:00 59 47 2 96 (E) 1749 mstly cldy lt rain 17:00 64 33 12 357 (N) 871 mstly cldy lt rain 18:00 64 35 17 20 (NNE) 558 mstly cldy lt rain 19:00 66 30 11 37 (NE) 567 ptly cldy none 20:00 67 34 17 39 (NE) 757 ptly cldy none 21:00 59 40 36 59 (ENE) 608 cloudy none 22:00 59 38 36 53 (NE) 418 cloudy none 23:00 63 33 21 64 (ENE) 530 cloudy none 00:00 67 28 13 51 (NE) 452 ptly cldy none 01:00 65 31 17 71 (ENE) 486 ptly cldy none 02:00 62 33 22 63 (ENE) 437 ptly cldy none 03:00 62 34 21 67 (ENE) 467 ptly cldy none 04:00 64 31 6 4 (N) 540 ptly cldy none 05:00 63 30 10 38 (NE) 479 ptly cldy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
