At one point a lightning strike hit the 3.5m dome. All systems appeared to be fine. Second half, skies began clearing. Humidity backed down enough to open around 2am. Poor seeing most of the time we were open. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM ----------------------------------------------------------------- 02:45 DIS -187(20) 30 46 10.9 11.7 11.8 12.0 11.0 -- 1.6 04:30 Apollo -50(989) 82 28 9.6 10.7 10.1 10.4 9.9 -- 2.1 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------- 16:00 66 47 21 216 (SW) 794 cloudy none 17:00 64 44 15 182 (S) 894 cloudy none 18:00 63 46 15 201 (SSW) 906 cloudy none 19:00 62 49 15 193 (SSW) 1007 cloudy none 20:00 56 48 17 81 (E) 983 cloudy rain 21:00 53 48 10 88 (E) 1365 cloudy rain 22:00 50 48 10 4 (N) 1007 cloudy rain 23:00 49 47 14 35 (NE) 1060 cloudy humid 00:00 49 44 13 84 (E) 619 mstly cldy humid 01:00 48 44 15 77 (ENE) 467 mstly clr humid 02:00 50 43 16 132 (SE) 275 clear none 03:00 52 42 17 150 (SSE) 430 clear none 04:00 50 43 3 95 (E) 485 clear none 05:00 50 43 5 179 (S) 484 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
