Davenport Training Jim Davenport Had to reset DIS R300 grating. Spectra was on the top right corner of the CCD instead of centered. Pulled R300 out and set back in, making sure to push it into both set pins, problem solved. Grating was calibrated 24hrs ago.... Did anyone take out the R300 grating today? It took ~6 min to run each time, but seemed to work quite well. We did not test the "Find" button. Sucker-hole then collapsed on us. Never opened for science due to weather. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM ---------------------------------------------------------------------- 02:06 SPIcam -282(294) 70 62 15.2 15.9 17.2 16.3 15.2 r' 0.7 02:10 NA2guider -1569(28430) 67 43 15.2 15.9 17.2 16.3 15.2 - 1.3 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 67 28 5 327 (NNW) 434 mstly cldy none 17:00 65 44 7 86 (E) 462 mstly cldy none 18:00 65 38 5 92 (E) 459 cloudy none 19:00 63 44 13 73 (ENE) 439 cloudy none 20:00 61 46 17 71 (ENE) 455 cloudy none 21:00 59 45 17 74 (ENE) 472 cloudy none 22:00 58 47 15 68 (ENE) 513 cloudy none 23:00 58 47 11 81 (E) 578 cloudy none 00:00 61 40 7 198 (SSW) 325 cloudy none 01:00 59 39 9 218 (SW) 418 cloudy none 02:00 58 38 5 90 (E) 435 mstly cldy none 03:00 58 35 5 108 (ESE) 346 mstly cldy none 04:00 61 35 0 119 (ESE) 307 cloudy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
