Around 22:00 the radar returns had dissipated, but we still had thin cirrus all around. We opened around 22:30 with variable seeing and stayed open the rest of the night. Seeing stabilized some second half. Nic-fps needed it's exposure inited at the beginning of the night (biases were saturated with NFS=0), but it immediately cleared and we lost no time to it. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM ----------------------------------------------------------------- 22:45 NICFPS -105(610) 8 72 10.1 11.0 10.0 10.9 10.0 H 0.7 01:05 Echelle -42(-588)296 49 10.3 10.9 10.1 11.2 11.1 ND3 1.1 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------- 16:00 58 34 3 324 (NW) 775 cloudy none 17:00 53 35 15 296 (WNW) 992 cloudy rain 18:00 47 36 14 10 (N) 839 cloudy rain 19:00 50 30 3 26 (NNE) 1383 cloudy none 20:00 53 24 2 3 (N) 1018 cloudy none 21:00 53 23 6 318 (NW) 1178 cloudy none 22:00 52 24 2 306 (NW) 1069 mstly clr none 23:00 50 26 5 3 (N) 957 mstly clr none 00:00 50 25 1 351 (N) 920 mstly clr none 01:00 54 17 11 8 (N) 891 mstly clr none 02:00 53 23 1 264 (W) 971 mstly clr none 03:00 49 25 6 119 (ESE) 926 mstly clr none 04:00 50 25 7 220 (SW) 1054 mstly clr none 05:00 49 27 7 179 (S) 1171 mstly clr none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
