I'll do the best I can from memory of what Russet and I did the first part of the night. Russet zero'ed the rotator during the afternoon. Since we needed to wait for the telescope to cool down, we gave soem time to the Agile (UW02) folks to do some tests on the U filter installed in the camera. It seems that the camera was not too sensitive to UV. Good info to know for tommorow nights run. Russet then used the S-H to check/adjust telescope tracking. Unfortunately the numbers she gave me were in the e-mail the got axed. By this time the telescope had cooled enough that we could do collimation tests/refinements. Russet also did an S-H altitude sweep. I did a 80 point pointing model, 1 bad point due to a bright star which I removed, and implemented that model. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM ---------------------------------------------------------------------- 23:59 Guider 100(440) -73 71 10.2 10.1 9.7 10.2 10.2 ND2 -- 23:59 NA2gdr -7031(32068) -73 71 10.2 10.1 9.7 10.2 10.2 ND2 0.71 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions 16:00 60 4 12 262 (W) 314 Pt.
