Closed at 22:05 due to clouds and radar returns. The system passed over us raising the humidity for a bit and then the winds returned. Very unstable conditions continued. Opened again at 4:15am, when things seemed to settle down, but as expected after all that weather, seeing was very poor. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM ----------------------------------------------------------------- 21:45 DISslit -23(127) 96 53 8.4 8.9 8.5 8.9 8.3 -- 1.7 04:25 DISslit -398(-553) 250 66 -0.8 1.5 1.3 1.2 -0.4 -- 2.3 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------- 16:00 57 16 43 218 (SW) 1469 ptly cldy none 17:00 57 15 23 218 (SW) 1337 ptly cldy none 18:00 57 13 27 224 (SW) 1765 ptly cldy none 19:00 53 11 40 232 (SW) 2844 ptly cldy none 20:00 49 10 26 227 (SW) 1382 ptly cldy none 21:00 47 12 23 213 (SSW) 1394 cloudy none 22:00 47 14 21 236 (SW) 1334 cloudy none 23:00 42 21 20 269 (W) 1769 cloudy none 00:00 39 22 26 272 (W) 1374 mstly cldy none 01:00 34 28 17 331 (NNW) 1011 mstly cldy none 02:00 34 24 30 272 (W) 851 ptly cldy none 03:00 33 23 24 279 (W) 586 ptly cldy none 04:00 32 19 21 276 (W) 539 mstly clr none 05:00 30 20 10 296 (WNW) 511 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
