No Problems. 2nd half Observing Specialist: R.McMillan Clouds started to move in at the very end of second half, and by the time we changed instruments they were bad enough to prevent refocusing for a while. Then that wave passed off, and we observed through a couple of thinner waves of clouds until they closed in for real. Rain/sleet started before 05:00, and by dawn we had some nice blowing snow or freezing frost going. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM --------------------------------------------------------------------- 20:00 Echelle 81(-901) 166 57 -0.3 2.3 0.5 0.1 0.2 ND3 1.0 01:50 NIC -80(174) 63 42 -1.3 -1.54 -2.12 -1.81 -1.28 J 1.4 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------- 16:00 37 0 7 279 (W) 621 clear none 17:00 43 4 7 237 (WSW) 611 clear none 18:00 40 3 8 223 (SW) 636 clear none 19:00 33 0 2 255 (WSW) 686 clear none 20:00 31 2 1 8 (N) 677 clear none 21:00 30 0 8 89 (E) 751 clear none 22:00 32 -6 6 108 (ESE) 798 clear none 23:00 35 -11 1 175 (S) 902 clear none 00:00 30 -4 14 80 (E) 803 mstly clr none 01:00 29 6 18 79 (E) 725 mstly cldy none 02:00 30 6 11 115 (ESE) 828 ptly cldy none 03:00 33 3 15 172 (S) 951 mstly cldy none 04:00 32 3 16 125 (SE) 1038 cloudy none 05:00 32 14 9 114 (ESE) 1503 cloudy rain 06:00 26 24 10 92 (E) 2080 cloudy snow Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
