We managed to stay open an hour before the threat was back. Opened 22:50 again during another hole, closed again at 00:20. 2nd half Observing Specialist: R.McMillan Second half had a variety of fast-moving storms with rain, hail and lightning, plus high humidity and gusty winds. There was a while when I thought we might have a hole open up, so I spent a lot of time watching weather closely. Fortunately I didn't open, as the apparent hole turned into more rain with very little warning. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM --------------------------------------------------------------------- 23:10 Agile -75(382) -26 76 5.1 5.5 5.2 5.5 5.0 --- 1.1 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------- 16:00 49 36 18 209 (SSW) 511 ptly cldy none 17:00 49 31 15 200 (SSW) 374 ptly cldy none 18:00 46 33 15 183 (S) 478 mstly clr none 19:00 44 31 16 147 (SSE) 493 mstly clr none 20:00 43 24 12 173 (S) 405 mstly cldy none 21:00 45 24 18 181 (S) 867 cloudy none 22:00 44 24 18 181 (S) 1285 mstly clr none 23:00 43 24 16 131 (SE) 785 clear none 00:00 41 27 18 109 (ESE) 461 ptly cldy none 01:00 41 30 13 77 (ENE) 441 cloudy rain 02:00 43 30 15 184 (S) 717 cloudy rain 03:00 34 35 21 343 (NNW) 965 mstly cldy none 04:00 41 34 26 163 (SSE) 982 mstly cldy lt rain 05:00 42 40 32 157 (SSE) 1430 cloudy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
