We determined that pointing and orientation was close enough that a new instrument block would not be productive tonight. Things went rather well first half and the instrument was able to obtain useful data. Seeing was quite good and sub arcsecond for much of first half and into second half. Clouds came and went all night. Second half went smoothly. The guider required a power rest between halfs. No other problems. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM ----------------------------------------------------------------- 19:20 Agile -125(493) 145 77 8.6 9.7 9.0 9.6 8.7 BG40 0.91 00:26 SPIcam 90(375) -129 44 8.5 8.1 7.5 8.1 8.5 R 0.82 01:15 SPIcam 0(275) 124 40 7.3 7.8 7.4 7.6 7.5 I 1.1 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------- 16:00 57 19 13 218 (SW) 644 mstly clr none 17:00 52 13 14 244 (WSW) 577 mstly clr none 18:00 53 16 11 255 (WSW) 686 mstly clr none 19:00 50 16 12 257 (WSW) 611 ptly cldy none 20:00 46 11 14 235 (SW) 504 ptly cldy none 21:00 46 12 12 219 (SW) 491 ptly cldy none 22:00 46 12 17 227 (SW) 523 mstly clr none 23:00 47 12 10 266 (W) 598 mstly clr none 00:00 47 11 11 263 (W) 625 mstly clr none 01:00 47 11 12 239 (WSW) 650 mstly clr none 02:00 46 11 11 252 (WSW) 573 mstly clr none 03:00 46 14 9 210 (SSW) 681 mstly clr none 04:00 46 11 13 259 (W) 513 ptly cldy none 05:00 46 11 12 263 (W) 615 mstly cldy none 06:00 46 8 17 282 (WNW) 496 ptly cldy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
