When it looked like there was no chance of our opening, my second half observer called it an early night with instructions that if it cleared before 0430 to call him. He didnt feel he could get much useful data after that time. Certain enough at 04:45 the skies became mostly clear. I couldnt think of much useful engineering I could do with less than an hour by the time I opened and focused so I called it an early night too. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM ----------------------------------------------------------------- ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------- 15:57 34 18 ?? 315 cloudy none 16:57 33 18 ?? 356 cloudy none 17:57 32 17 ?? 485 cloudy none 18:57 33 18 ?? 1099 cloudy none 19:57 34 17 ?? 1290 cloudy none 20:57 34 17 ?? 1415 cloudy none 21:57 35 17 ?? 1589 cloudy none 22:57 36 17 ?? 1562 cloudy none 23:57 34 16 ?? 1034 cloudy none 00:57 34 18 ?? 1631 cloudy none 01:57 35 18 ?? 1677 cloudy none 02:57 34 19 ?? 787 cloudy none 03:57 32 19 ?? 930 mstly cldy none 04:57 32 21 ?? 1090 ptly cldy none 05:57 31 22 ?? 1217 ptly cldy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
