AZ Velocity Scale Was: 596.0 Measured: 591.76 Changed to: 591.0 Alt Velicity Scale Was: -636.0 Measured: -638.37 Changed to: -638.0 Pre-empted NICFPS to get AGILE (no Focal Reducer) data during EN02 time tonight. We got UBVRI standards with the focal reducer removed. This took a little over 2.5 hrs Agile lost communications once tonight (after we finished the on sky stuff). We power cycled the instrument and that cleared things up. Seeing was poor and variable for much of the night (especially 2nd half) ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM ---------------------------------------------------------------------- 17:52 DISSlit -174(-313) -45 68 0.8 3.5 3.1 3.1 1.7 -- 1.1 18:48 DISslit -140(-344) -34 52 0.4 1.7 1.2 0.4 0.5 -- 1.6 23:03 DISSlit -184(-543) -43 40 -2.7 -1.8 -1.3 -3.4 -2.8 -- 1.8 00:20 AGILE -275(-293) 9 56 -4.7 -3.2 -2.4 -4.8 -4.4 U 1.7 02:55 NICFPS -7(-26) -111 42 -3.6 -5.2 -4.7 -6.4 -5.0 H2 1.6 04:57 Echelle 17(-1256) 8 38 -3.4 -4.2 -3.6 -4.7 -3.8 clear 1.8 05:45 APOLLO 0(318) 21 44 -3.4 -4.2 -3.6 -4.9 -4.0 -- 2.0 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions --------------------------------------------------------------------- 16:00 35 7 9 349 (N) 952 clear none 17:00 34 1 8 12 (NNE) 869 clear none 18:00 33 1 15 324 (NW) 856 clear none 19:00 32 1 7 1 (N) 822 clear none 20:00 33 -1 13 327 (NNW) 866 clear none 21:00 31 0 12 328 (NNW) 830 clear none 22:00 30 2 11 306 (NW) 853 clear none 23:00 27 4 6 327 (NNW) 811 clear none 00:00 25 12 2 199 (SSW) 810 clear none 01:00 23 13 5 192 (SSW) 744 clear none 02:00 22 11 6 188 (S) 733 clear none 03:00 25 5 2 302 (WNW) 772 clear none 04:00 26 1 8 312 (NW) 671 clear none 05:00 26 -2 8 323 (NW) 605 clear none 06:00 26 -10 9 354 (N) 400 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
