By 8pm the snow flurries began. It snowed rather steadily until about 3am. Total accumulation at the site was between 1.5 and 3 inches. This morning I parked the telescope facing south for best sun exposure to melt any snow and ice. I spent the night backing up old fastcam data to DVDs to make some room on the fastcam icc. I also worked on some TUI scripting. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions --------------------------------------------------------------------- 16:00 33 14 35 247 (WSW) 637 cloudy none 17:00 30 15 23 250 (WSW) 1034 cloudy none 18:00 25 22 34 271 (W) 7810 cloudy none 19:00 23 21 26 282 (WNW) 378 cloudy none 20:00 22 22 10 263 (W) 2888 cloudy lt snow 21:00 21 20 17 269 (W) 2073 cloudy lt snow 22:00 20 19 17 275 (W) 277 cloudy lt snow 23:00 22 18 16 273 (W) 845 cloudy lt snow 00:00 20 16 15 288 (WNW) 360 cloudy lt snow 01:00 19 14 18 300 (WNW) 948 cloudy lt snow 02:00 17 12 24 324 (NW) 184 cloudy lt snow 03:00 12 6 12 298 (WNW) 192 cloudy lt snow 04:00 10 4 17 320 (NW) 224 ptly cldy none 05:00 8 4 14 356 (N) 321 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
