I spent time with on site observer orientation first half. Second half we waited out the weather until it was clear we would miss the ingress of the occultaion and then the observer called it a night. By 0230 heavy snow showers started here. I decided to call it a night. I turned on the roof heaters, filled instruments, started the snow program and by 0330 headed off to bed. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM ----------------------------------------------------------------- ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------- 16:00 36 37 30 211 (SSW) 8470 cloudy lt snow 17:00 34 34 26 199 (SSW) 5901 cloudy rain 18:00 32 33 16 255 (WSW) 4419 cloudy rain 19:00 32 32 39 210 (SSW) 28 cloudy rain 20:00 32 32 26 183 (S) 4571 cloudy rain 21:00 32 32 26 205 (SSW) 1624 cloudy humid 22:00 32 32 23 203 (SSW) 3661 cloudy humid 23:00 32 32 25 208 (SSW) 5880 mstly cldy humid 00:00 32 32 37 203 (SSW) 6896 cloudy humid 01:00 31 32 32 195 (SSW) 9811 cloudy humid 02:00 30 30 29 218 (SW) 9794 cloudy humid 03:00 26 26 27 267 (W) 236 cloudy snow Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
