After a test image or two, the files would come up all zeros after starting the dither script. NIC required several expose inits (as per Corey’s recommendation, he was online) and then we tried an ICS restart. After that NIC seemed to run more smoothly. On and off we lost about 30 mins to these repeat failures. 23:22 All TUI’s disconnected. Everyone was locked out saying connection refused. Called Fritz; hub had crashed. He restarted and we got back on sky where we had left off in about 20 mins. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- CU04 N I/S 18:30 19:15 Repeated NICFPS zero files CU04 N T/S 23:22 23:42 hub crash, TUI lockout ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM ----------------------------------------------------------------- ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------- 16:00 47 23 12 38 (NE) 1136 mstly clr none 17:00 45 22 12 357 (N) 1104 mstly clr none 18:00 44 20 15 44 (NE) 1357 mstly clr none 19:00 45 19 12 15 (NNE) 1244 clear none 20:00 46 14 14 28 (NNE) 636 clear none 21:00 45 19 13 31 (NNE) 548 clear none 22:00 45 18 13 18 (NNE) 659 clear none 23:00 45 19 12 13 (NNE) 550 clear none 00:00 43 18 13 29 (NNE) 770 clear none 01:00 43 19 11 11 (N) 715 clear none 02:00 43 21 13 17 (NNE) 662 clear none 03:00 43 21 13 22 (NNE) 639 clear none 04:00 43 21 23 16 (NNE) 570 clear none 05:00 45 21 17 9 (N) 183 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
