At 3:17 rotator overcurrented. Then when I got it working again the slitviewer hung on us. It took a while as I had to get the guidestar back in the same position where it was before the rotator overcurrented. Just as Nancy started her program the humidity started to rise. We flirted at the closure limits. We closed at 05:10 due to humidity and gave up at 06:25. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- UW06 D T/H 03:17 03:47 Rotator overcurrent ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM ---------------------------------------------------------------------- 00:10 SPIcam -70(465) -3 57 12.7 13.5 12.9 12.5 12.6 g' 2.0 01:15 DISSlit -100(272) -101 43 12.6 12.7 13.2 11.8 12.3 -- 1.3 04:46 Echelle -118(-627) 72 60 10.7 11.3 11.7 10.4 10.9 ND2 1.4 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions --------------------------------------------------------------------- 16:00 63 50 10 263 (W) 905 Mst. cldy none 17:00 64 49 10 262 (W) 888 Mst. cldy none 18:00 61 48 3 241 (WSW) 869 Mst. cldy none 19:00 56 48 4 263 (W) 993 cldy rain 20:00 56 47 14 269 (W) 914 cldy none 21:00 49 40 18 30 (NNE) 770 cldy none 22:00 53 36 13 36 (NE) 271 cldy none 23:00 57 37 6 337 (NNW) 632 cldy none 00:00 54 41 8 225 (SW) 808 pt. cldy none 01:00 54 44 9 238 (WSW) 1038 clear none 02:00 55 45 8 268 (W) 1413 clear none 03:00 54 47 9 235 (SW) 1918 clear none 04:00 54 47 8 261 (W) 1364 clear none 05:00 52 48 7 203 (SSW) 1320 clear humid 06:00 51 48 7 267 (W) 1472 clear humid Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
