We had some issues with the NICFPS focus script in the latest version of TUI. Russell was online to work on it. However, I still had problems with it once he was off and had to stick with focusing manually. The Echelle focus script seemed to work, but there were a few quirks. Seeing fluctuated from decent to great over the night. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM ----------------------------------------------------------------- 18:10 NICFPS -125(200) -147 44 -0.4 1.2 0.3 -0.1 -0.2 H 1.5 19:20 NICFPS -75(230) -146 36 -0.7 -0.4 -0.9 -0.8 -0.8 H 1.0 19:20 Echelle -68(-1065) -64 34 -0.4 -0.7 -1.3 -1.1 -0.5 ND2 1.0 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------- 16:00 34 17 ?? 377 mstly clr none 17:00 34 14 ?? 368 mstly clr none 18:00 31 19 ?? 530 mstly clr none 19:00 30 20 ?? 462 clear none 20:00 31 18 ?? 401 clear none 21:00 31 16 ?? 336 clear none 22:00 31 13 ?? 347 clear none 23:00 31 15 ?? 468 clear none 00:00 31 14 ?? 488 clear none 01:00 31 19 ?? 592 clear none 02:00 30 18 ?? 693 ptly cldy none 03:00 29 20 ?? 691 mstly clr none 04:00 29 20 ?? 700 ptly cldy none 05:00 29 21 ?? 714 mstly clr none 06:00 29 21 ?? 549 mstly clr none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
