Clouds moved in at 21:30. Complete overcast by 22:30. Winds exceeded the limit, closed at 22:55. High winds and clouds persisted the rest of the night. Around 2:15 the humidity began climbing. After 3:00 we had winds over the limit coupled with humidity over the limit. By 4:00 radar returns showed precipitation just off the ridge. With 92% humidity in 36mph gusts at 4:30, we called it a night. The screenlog eavesdrop for SPIcam doesn’t seem to be working. When initiated old data (from a previous day, UT070104) is spit out. Tested a new version of TUI. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM ----------------------------------------------------------------- 18:30 SPIcam -75(-78) 314 47 1.1 0.9 0.4 0.7 0.9 g 0.9 20:00 SPIcam 25(15) 306 44 0.5 0.7 0.1 0.4 0.6 i 0.9 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------- 16:02 37 19 30 219 (SW) 1622 mstly clr none 17:02 35 18 23 207 (SSW) 1983 mstly clr none 18:02 34 18 22 212 (SSW) 2001 mstly clr none 19:02 34 19 27 204 (SSW) 1902 clear none 20:02 34 20 25 211 (SSW) 1858 clear none 21:02 32 20 20 217 (SW) 2182 clear none 22:02 32 18 24 215 (SW) 1853 mstly cldy none 23:02 32 18 24 207 (SSW) 1550 cloudy none 00:02 31 19 28 216 (SW) 1556 cloudy none 01:02 30 20 27 210 (SSW) 1477 cloudy none 02:02 29 20 18 235 (SW) 1542 cloudy none 03:02 26 22 21 201 (SSW) 1765 cloudy humid 04:02 28 25 33 233 (SW) 1148 cloudy humid Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
