Amazing. Wisps of clouds now and again, but moderate humidity and mostly clear skies made for a decent first half. 2nd Half Observing Specialist: R.McMillan Second half was mostly clear with moderate seeing and humidity getting down to antediluvian values. Everything worked well except for a recurring error involving the writing of echelle slitviewer images; this occurred three or four times during second half. The guide loop could be restarted immediately each time, so no time was lost. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM --------------------------------------------------------------------- 20:03 Echelle 54(524) 170 59 15.0/17.8 325 4 ND2 1.0 00:11 Echelle -23(326) 160 51 13.8/14.3 14 5 nd1 1.1 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------- 16:00 66 52 10 296 (WNW) 406 mstly clr none 17:00 64 51 10 303 (WNW) 409 mstly clr none 18:00 64 52 8 296 (WNW) 475 mstly clr none 19:00 62 52 7 287 (WNW) 479 mstly clr none 20:00 59 51 3 342 (NNW) 476 mstly clr none 21:00 58 49 2 352 (N) 625 clear none 22:00 58 49 9 65 (ENE) 599 mstly clr none 23:00 59 47 2 349 (N) 662 mstly clr none 00:00 58 47 6 25 (NNE) 462 mstly clr none 01:00 56 48 4 354 (N) 641 mstly clr none 02:00 56 49 5 356 (N) 554 clear none 03:00 57 49 7 53 (NE) 554 clear none 04:00 57 46 12 64 (ENE) 550 clear none 05:00 57 43 15 66 (ENE) 565 clear none 06:00 57 36 13 62 (ENE) 517 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
