Seeing was poor until after 0300-ish when the wind shifted back to the east. Humidity climbed and fell several times but did not exceed closure conditions. Other than loosing 2 1/2 hours to clouds there were no other problems tonight. A problem with cables that were discovered last night however was traced to poor shielding and quickly fixed mid day. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ----------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM --------------------------------------------------------------------- 21:03 gfp 50(1409) 183 76 15.6/17.2 75 19 SII 1.95 01:24 gfp 100(1350) 204 61 13.7/14.0 84 14 R 1.8 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 67 45 5 267 (W) 738 ptly cldy none 17:00 66 46 8 62 (ENE) 794 ptly cldy none 18:00 68 45 1 118 (ESE) 745 ptly cldy none 19:00 66 44 1 35 (NE) 698 ptly cldy none 20:00 63 46 13 70 (ENE) 828 ptly cldy none 21:00 60 48 16 75 (ENE) 890 ptly cldy none 22:00 59 48 18 78 (ENE) 899 mstly cldy none 23:00 58 48 15 79 (E) 941 mstly cldy none 00:00 58 47 15 56 (NE) 939 mstly cldy none 01:00 57 48 13 101 (E) 971 ptly cldy none 02:00 56 48 13 78 (ENE) 1003 mstly cldy none 03:00 55 47 4 69 (ENE) 963 ptly cldy none 04:00 56 46 4 269 (W) 999 ptly cldy none 05:00 55 47 5 349 (N) 926 ptly cldy none 06:00 55 47 4 300 (WNW) 1131 mstly clr none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
