I held off opening until conditions looked better. Clouds rolled in around 21:40 and closed us down until midnight. We re-opened around midnight for an hour until a thunderstorm brewing to our west moved over us. It rained for about an hour with thick clouds until 04:30. We had some NA2 guider problems as well tonight. Fritz spent a couple hours figuring out what was going wrong and fixed the problem. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ----------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM --------------------------------------------------------------------- 20:45 NICFPS 9(1902) 99 30 17.8/20.6 114 13 H 1.2 00:13 NICFPS 72(1659) 59 73 15.6/16.7 129 27 H 1.7 00:19 NA2gdr -2798(40201) 56 74 15.6/16.5 127 24 R 2.0 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 18:00 73 47 1 241 (WSW) 508 Pt.
