The cloud camera was opened and closed twice for rain, then opened a third time just before morning twilight. Once the 2.5m ran EndNight, the sky improved and we opened the telescope long enough to get spectra on a few objects before more clouds moved in. Seeing was good, and the telescope and CorMASS behaved fairly well. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ----------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM --------------------------------------------------------------------- 04:34 NA2gdr -3020(25979)240 74 12.8/13.5 170 5 R 0.79 04:52 cormass -25(1140) 242 67 13.7/13.5 183 7 K 0.52 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:01 68 32 1 159 (SSE) 1032 cloudy lt rain 17:01 66 35 13 150 (SSE) 1098 cloudy lt rain 18:01 66 34 9 200 (SSW) 1071 cloudy lt rain 19:01 63 37 3 280 (W) 2102 cloudy lt rain 20:01 63 34 10 180 (S) 1671 cloudy lt rain 21:01 63 31 11 152 (SSE) 1129 ptly cldy none 22:01 62 32 14 149 (SSE) 1132 cloudy lt rain 23:01 60 34 16 132 (SE) 1353 cloudy rain 00:01 59 37 11 190 (S) 1649 cloudy rain 01:01 57 38 13 174 (S) 1618 cloudy none 02:01 57 37 13 164 (SSE) 1530 ptly cldy none 03:01 57 39 11 176 (S) 1573 cloudy lt rain 04:01 57 37 6 185 (S) 1617 ptly cldy none 05:01 57 39 5 176 (S) 1430 mstly cldy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
