For second half we did a kind of drift scan with DIS. The parameters the obs specs need to put into TUI are listed below (there were 2 rates, ask Stephen which he wants). 0.025"/sec tcc offset boresight 0.0, 0.0000000, 0.0, -0.0000069/vabs 2 x 0.025"/sec tcc offset boresight 0.00000000, 0.0000000, 0.0, -0.00001388/vabs Stop drift tcc offset boresight 0.00000000, 0.0000000, 0.0, -0.00/vabs Use NA2 guider (use 3 sec exposure for M27 guider field region) If the guider stops issue a hub starNubs gcam to get it back. It stopped guiding several times on me, perhaps due to the drift scan and it updating the stars position. The negative y velocity rate value caused the stars to drift downward (slit upward). ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ----------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM --------------------------------------------------------------------- 21:00 NICFPS 225(1887) 210 64 14.1/15.9 81 13 Ks 1.5 23:45 NICFPS 150(1681) 10 45 12.5/13.1 108 10 H 1.0 01:31 DISslit -35(1019) 94 56 11.7/12.4 126 17 none 1.2 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 62 50 6 216 (SW) 506 clear none 17:00 60 48 1 247 (WSW) 497 clear none 18:00 63 42 4 98 (E) 405 ptly cldy none 19:00 63 41 11 128 (SE) 419 ptly cldy none 20:00 59 41 11 82 (E) 488 ptly cldy none 21:00 57 41 12 84 (E) 499 ptly cldy none 22:00 56 40 10 83 (E) 603 ptly cldy none 23:00 56 40 14 112 (ESE) 581 ptly cldy none 00:00 55 41 12 110 (ESE) 619 clear none 01:00 56 41 9 106 (ESE) 660 clear none 02:00 53 47 16 111 (ESE) 738 clear none 03:00 54 43 12 80 (E) 646 clear none 04:00 55 43 9 119 (ESE) 658 Lt Cirrus none 05:00 53 46 14 125 (SE) 615 Lt Cirrus none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
