No time lost due to weather however. Guiding seemed to be smoother tonight. Less bounce seen and no drift. First half observer informed us that our network problems may have been due to a scheduled weekend power outtage down on campus. The night staff had not been warned that this was to occur. Because of the trouble with the network the second half user (the first off-site observer this weekend) had serious and repeated connectivity problems with her TUI dropping connection. Usually after a few minutes she could reconnect however at 0430, she could no longer reach the site. Finally she called me and I the rest of her data for the night. I estimate that about 30 minutes was lost to this problem. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ----------------------------------------------------------------------- UW10 D T/U 04:30 05:00 Internet outage ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM --------------------------------------------------------------------- 20:58 dis-slit -243(1123) 181 77 17.3/20.9 216 8 - 0.92 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:01 74 30 17 233 (SW) 1088 mstly cldy cirrus 17:01 76 32 16 270 (W) 1118 mstly cldy cirrus 18:01 73 29 19 235 (SW) 1162 mstly cldy cirrus 19:01 71 27 9 267 (W) 1150 mstly cldy cirrus 20:01 64 21 11 224 (SW) 1299 mstly cldy cirrus 21:01 63 21 5 221 (SW) 1443 mstly cldy cirrus 22:01 64 22 3 221 (SW) 1414 mstly cldy cirrus 23:01 64 22 2 196 (SSW) 2278 mstly cldy cirrus 00:01 59 28 16 76 (ENE) 2070 mstly cldy cirrus 01:01 57 34 9 89 (E) 2145 mstly cldy cirrus 02:01 59 29 2 24 (NNE) 2168 mstly cldy cirrus 03:01 60 28 5 339 (NNW) 3022 mstly cldy cirrus 04:01 60 29 6 355 (N) 2551 mstly cldy cirrus 05:01 58 28 5 2 (N) 2459 mstly cldy cirrus 06:01 60 26 0 8 (N) 2315 mstly cldy cirrus Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
