This compounded with a number of instrument resets on nicfps made for a difficult couple hours for CU01. Second half continued to have poor seeing but was not bothered by the same amount of instrument troubles. The rest of the night went by without problem. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ----------------------------------------------------------------------- CU01 N I/H 22:45 23:45 Leach Controller Woes ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM --------------------------------------------------------------------- 19:36 nicfps 151(1356) 152 77 7.0/7.8 358 5 H2r 1.3 23:39 nicfps -20(981) 346 50 0.8/1.6 74 19 H2 2.53 01:32 NA2gdr -5062(40037)12 28 0.2/-0.0 75 18 R+nd2 2.7 03:19 nicfps 180(1206) 14 33 1.4/0.3 77 12 Ks 1.8 05:36 Echelle 112(-145) 61 72 4.2/1.6 162 4 nd2 1.24 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:01 47 11 2 254 (WSW) 385 prtly cldy cirrus 17:01 46 11 6 291 (WNW) 462 prtly cldy cirrus 18:01 46 10 11 331 (NNW) 543 prtly cldy cirrus 19:01 45 8 6 359 (N) 484 prtly cldy cirrus 20:01 44 2 8 16 (NNE) 511 prtly cldy cirrus 21:01 46 5 9 112 (ESE) 466 prtly cldy cirrus 22:01 40 12 26 69 (ENE) 3223 prtly cldy cirrus 23:01 34 25 21 69 (ENE) 3356 prtly cldy cirrus 00:01 33 25 21 73 (ENE) 2129 mstly clr cirrus 01:01 32 25 23 73 (ENE) 1137 mstly clr cirrus 02:01 33 24 15 77 (ENE) 696 mstly clr cirrus 03:01 35 22 13 73 (ENE) 679 mstly clr cirrus 04:01 37 18 3 137 (SE) 645 clear none 05:01 39 15 3 145 (SE) 799 clear none 06:01 40 14 4 105 (ESE) 903 clear none 07:01 40 12 1 181 (S) 1052 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
