I worked on a long standing request by J.Holtzman to study image quality improvements by simulating a tip-tilt system using shift and add techniques on some of the fastcam data. Initial results were sent to Jon. The only problems tonight were spurious ground fault trouble alarms in the Sloan Support Building on the site fire alarm system. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ----------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM --------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:01 49 27 11 267 (W) 583 cloudy none 17:01 50 28 14 255 (WSW) 844 cloudy none 18:01 50 26 21 261 (W) 1920 cloudy none 19:01 48 29 21 237 (WSW) 1384 cloudy none 20:01 46 30 25 262 (W) 2437 cloudy dust 21:01 41 35 15 289 (WNW) 5576 cloudy dust 22:01 39 36 11 266 (W) 2720 cloudy dust 23:01 38 37 19 264 (W) 1277 cloudy lt rain 00:01 37 37 16 267 (W) 1294 cloudy lt rain 01:01 37 37 27 250 (WSW) 1153 cloudy lt rain 02:01 37 37 26 225 (SW) 1675 cloudy lt rain 03:01 36 36 14 240 (WSW) 151 cloudy none 04:01 37 36 18 204 (SSW) 141 cloudy none 05:01 38 35 24 213 (SSW) 284 cloudy none 06:01 38 35 20 224 (SW) 329 cloudy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
