The first half observer gave up an hour or so early, and the second half observer got a sucker hole barely just long enough to focus through. I managed to catch a ToO during morning twilight because it was bright, but the S:N wasn't very good. NIC-FPS was on the pump and unavailable tonight; the DIS ion pump also continued to show increasing pressure levels, and the observer mentioned signs of a return of the scattered light on the blue side. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ----------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM --------------------------------------------------------------------- 18:35 DISslit 50(1005) -11 70 9.3/11.1 211 13 - 1.15 01:11 SPIcam 40(1038) 108 70 7.8/8.6 258 16 z 0.98 05:37 Echelle -1(31) 152 47 6.6/6.6 254 16 Clear 1.7 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:01 57 12 19 231 (SW) 648 cirrus none 17:01 55 9 23 233 (SW) 956 cirrus none 18:01 49 4 10 216 (SW) 954 cirrus none 19:01 49 4 13 223 (SW) 981 cirrus none 20:01 47 4 10 232 (SW) 754 cirrus none 21:01 49 4 14 261 (W) 786 mstly cldy none 22:01 50 5 12 258 (WSW) 741 mstly cldy none 23:01 49 5 17 234 (SW) 690 mstly cldy none 00:01 49 3 16 242 (WSW) 685 mstly cldy none 01:01 48 2 12 243 (WSW) 639 mstly cldy none 02:01 47 4 14 263 (W) 843 mstly cldy none 03:01 46 3 11 253 (WSW) 798 mstly cldy none 04:01 45 2 13 253 (WSW) 783 mstly cldy none 05:01 44 1 11 268 (W) 788 mstly cldy none 06:01 43 -1 13 265 (W) 876 mstly cldy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
