We finally opened, under very poor seeing, around 04:10. Brandon got about 20 mins of medocre, at best, data. I then switched to Guy Stringfellows RS Oph observation program, but we had a pointing problem that took me a few extra minutes to correct and by that time thick clouds were moving in and out of the field, pretty much making observations of RS Oph impossible. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ----------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM --------------------------------------------------------------------- 04:13 DISslit -50(669) -66 33 1.4/2.5 16 239 none 4 05:00 Echelle 14(-188) 7 49 1.3/1.4 12 267 ND2 3.9 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:01 46 23 32 211 (SSW) 4751 Cloudy dust 17:01 47 23 27 217 (SW) 4869 Cloudy dust 18:01 46 23 18 225 (SW) 4525 Cloudy dust 19:01 45 18 33 238 (WSW) 6183 Cloudy dust 20:01 43 21 23 228 (SW) 4163 Cloudy dust 21:01 42 22 28 233 (SW) 3834 Cloudy dust 22:01 42 24 19 256 (WSW) 2854 Cloudy wind 23:01 41 22 30 225 (SW) 1343 Cloudy wind 00:01 39 22 32 243 (WSW) 1254 Cloudy wind 01:01 39 22 29 232 (SW) 1475 Cloudy wind 02:01 38 23 24 252 (WSW) 1672 Cloudy wind 03:01 37 24 27 228 (SW) 1833 Cloudy wind 04:01 35 25 19 206 (SSW) 1455 Pt.
