When we did open for a short while during second half the dis slitviewer was acting very perculiarly. It would display a blank frame (perhaps the mask only?) after every telescope offset. This would cause guiding to complain until a good frame would be taken the next image. restarting dcamera/dcam had no effect. I used the engineering time to setup a spicam filter wheel for tomorrow nights observations, I did a filter inventory of the 3.5m filter storage cabinet and I took some time to train myself how to run cormass. I also updated the idl on the FastcamPC and started looking at recent data. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ----------------------------------------------------------------------- UW05 D I/S --:-- --:-- Numerous bad frames ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM --------------------------------------------------------------------- 00:31 dis-slit -33(283) 113 62 -3.7/-4.2 17 8 - 1.19 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:01 24 15 18 331 (NNW) 763 clear none 17:01 25 15 14 334 (NNW) 555 clear none 18:01 23 16 9 5 (N) 693 clear none 19:01 22 17 21 0 (N) 574 prtly cldy blowing snow 20:01 23 17 27 23 (NNE) 605 clear blowing snow 21:01 25 14 23 23 (NNE) 901 clear blowing snow 22:01 26 14 6 11 (N) 1264 clear blowing snow 23:01 25 14 18 25 (NNE) 1185 clear blowing snow 00:01 26 15 19 11 (N) 1243 clear blowing snow 01:01 25 16 20 28 (NNE) 1240 clear blowing snow 02:01 26 18 17 31 (NNE) 1913 clear blowing snow 03:01 25 18 16 30 (NNE) 1743 clear blowing snow 04:01 25 16 20 33 (NNE) 1531 clear blowing snow 05:01 24 15 14 16 (NNE) 1409 clear blowing snow Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
