Winds were not as strong as predicted and the mirror temperature was below freezing so blowing snow was not as much of a concern as it was for the 2.5m. We were open all night with reasonable seeing. No problems. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ----------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM --------------------------------------------------------------------- 18:42 Echelle 2(-433) 154 77 -2.7/-2.5 265 16 nd2 1.0 00:16 Echelle -24(-574) 188 77 -4.2/-5.0 2 8 nd2 1.13 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:01 31 11 21 272 (W) 933 prtly cldy cirrus 17:01 31 9 17 267 (W) 1058 prtly cldy cirrus 18:01 29 11 18 265 (W) 656 prtly cldy cirrus 19:01 27 12 15 266 (W) 661 prtly cldy cirrus 20:01 25 13 14 271 (W) 787 prtly cldy cirrus 21:01 24 14 13 267 (W) 826 prtly cldy cirrus 22:01 24 14 6 274 (W) 1020 prtly cldy cirrus 23:01 26 11 8 331 (NNW) 348 prtly cldy cirrus 00:01 26 11 10 359 (N) 301 prtly cldy cirrus 01:01 24 11 2 2 (N) 311 prtly cldy cirrus 02:01 25 11 3 259 (W) 310 prtly cldy cirrus 03:01 24 11 3 198 (SSW) 450 clear none 04:01 23 11 4 208 (SSW) 519 clear none 05:01 22 11 7 201 (SSW) 528 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
