Ricardo noticed some strange flats at the end of the night with the 5 arc sec slit. /export/images/Q1UW05/feige56_lamp.0030 and 31 (both red and blue) showed a vertical venetian banding pattern. I looked at some of his earlier flats (with a smaller slit and it was in those as well, but not as noticable). I am not used to looking at flats with that large of a slit so I am not sure if there is a problem or not, but the gradient was not uniform across the chip (looked like it was stepped). I plugged the heater back in next to the vacuum pump to have things warmed up when Mark gets in to work to restart the vacuum. No problems otherwise. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ----------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM --------------------------------------------------------------------- 04:07 DISslit -100(325) 47 72 -1.7/-1.0 277 18 none 1.3 04:20 NA2gdr -7049(21950) -69 37 -1.7/-1.2 291 18 clear 1.39 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:01 38 6 27 246 (WSW) 1181 Cloudy none 17:01 40 4 18 266 (W) 883 Cloudy none 18:01 36 7 19 258 (WSW) 739 Cloudy none 19:01 35 11 17 239 (WSW) 596 Cloudy none 20:01 35 9 16 267 (W) 560 Cloudy none 21:01 35 5 14 270 (W) 559 Cloudy none 22:01 34 1 14 267 (W) 504 Cloudy none 23:01 34 3 14 254 (WSW) 430 Cloudy none 00:01 33 3 15 267 (W) 474 Cloudy none 01:01 32 5 12 264 (W) 471 Cloudy none 02:01 31 6 18 272 (W) 488 Cloudy none 03:01 29 6 15 263 (W) 513 Mst.
