ICS was rebooted and restarted. Downtime was under 5minutes. Some more detailed examples of the image elongation and Acceleration Limited messages were sent to Russet at the end of the night. The Acceleration Limited messages on AZ and/or ROT during an exposure do appear to be a persistance of the warning message after an offset as the chip is clearing rather than during the integration but still further investigation is most likely needed. Seeing was variable all evening between fair and sub-arcsecond to horrific at greater than 2 arcseconds. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ----------------------------------------------------------------------- CU02 N I/S --:-- --:-- Readout failed during dither ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM --------------------------------------------------------------------- 18:18 nicfps 175(1153) 256 50 0.6/1.0 265 18 Ks 0.93 18:40 nicfps 200(1103) 225 73 0.8/0.7 273 17 Ks 0.91 00:42 nicfps 174(1066) 15 70 0.8/0.4 334 10 Ks 0.96 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:01 38 11 12 266 (W) 400 prtly cldy none 17:01 36 11 19 267 (W) 474 prtly cldy none 18:01 34 14 13 262 (W) 872 prtly cldy none 19:01 33 17 17 276 (W) 1370 prtly cldy none 20:01 33 17 13 286 (WNW) 1007 clear none 21:01 34 18 14 295 (WNW) 828 clear none 22:01 34 18 7 292 (WNW) 641 mstly cldy cirrus 23:01 34 19 8 354 (N) 359 mstly cldy cirrus 00:01 34 19 15 288 (WNW) 381 clear none 01:01 34 19 19 8 (N) 324 clear none 02:01 33 20 2 41 (NE) 241 clear none 03:01 32 19 15 327 (NNW) 266 clear none 04:01 32 21 21 336 (NNW) 254 prtly cldy none 05:01 32 21 10 6 (N) 259 mstly cldy cirrus 06:01 32 20 19 6 (N) 392 mstly cldy cirrus Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
