When I did open however the left door did make some noise like it was rolling over some ice accumulation. There was no problem opening or closing the dome other than this unusual audible. It was a night of watching the dewpoint rise and fall erradically. The dewpoint split stayed large enough that we did open for a few hours. This occured a short time after the first half observer (UW12) gave up for the night and went home. He had a small family emergency so turned the rest of his time over to me which I used to test TUI 1.3a11 and a request to please test a fix to PR#537. I did this test but found additional troubles with this version and was forced to revert to 1.3a9. The second half observer had just got into the swing of things and was collecting lots of good data when the split again became too close and we closed for the rest of the night. One item to note: Nicfps darks were all zeros in FS=0, 1 and 2 during checkout again tonight and I needed to stop the ics, restart and then reconnect the hub. Data was fine after this. ------ FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM ----------------------------------------------------------------------- 23:38 nicfps -437(-377) 180 77 -7.2 -6.5 -5.8 -6.2 -7.3 Ks 1.2 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------- 16:02 21 19 13 252 (WSW) 2610 mstly cldy humid 17:02 20 17 7 234 (SW) 3025 mstly cldy humid 18:02 19 17 8 259 (W) 3127 ptly cldy humid 19:02 19 16 8 263 (W) 3474 mstly clr humid 20:02 18 17 7 286 (WNW) 3406 mstly clr humid 21:02 19 17 4 297 (WNW) 3361 mstly clr humid 22:02 19 14 3 332 (NNW) 1325 mstly clr none 23:02 19 14 2 244 (WSW) 883 mstly clr none 00:02 19 15 3 251 (WSW) 1108 mstly clr none 01:02 19 16 3 266 (W) 827 mstly clr humid 02:02 20 12 6 265 (W) 542 mstly clr humid 03:02 18 15 4 256 (WSW) 894 mstly clr humid 04:02 18 16 3 5 (N) 725 mstly clr humid 05:02 18 15 6 355 (N) 354 mstly clr humid Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
