Rebooted Slitty and NFS did not come up. Rebooted Slitty a couple more times and it came back up on the 3rd reboot. No problems afterwards. I tweaked focus during the night, seeing was around 1.2 - 2.2 arc sec. 2nd Half Observing Specialist: B.Ketzeback No problems second half. Apollo got returns tonight although they were weak due to poor seeing conditions. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM ---------------------------------------------------------------------- 17:30 Echelle 31(-596) 7 63 9.7 10.6 9.4 9.6 9.5 ND3 0.94 22:14 Echelle -125(-752) 5 40 9.2 9.1 8.6 8.9 9.1 ND1 2.0 01:45 Echelle -25(-686) 151 76 9.8 8.9 8.4 8.9 9.4 nd1 1.73 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------- 16:01 48 28 2 272 (W) 149 cirrus none 17:01 48 27 15 3 (N) 154 cirrus none 18:01 49 25 18 19 (NNE) 51 cirrus none 19:01 50 26 16 12 (NNE) 56 cirrus none 20:01 49 28 22 15 (NNE) 131 cirrus none 21:01 49 28 17 4 (N) 171 cirrus none 22:01 49 29 15 18 (NNE) 144 cirrus none 23:01 47 29 24 358 (N) 179 cirrus none 00:01 49 28 25 29 (NNE) 204 clear none 01:01 49 27 17 46 (NE) 237 clear none 02:01 50 25 16 32 (NNE) 89 clear none 03:01 52 21 13 56 (NE) 76 clear none 04:01 54 18 13 56 (NE) 6 clear none 05:01 55 18 16 38 (NE) 19 clear none 06:01 53 19 12 30 (NNE) 26 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
