Thin clouds moving through most of 1st half. Seeing good to moderate. No problems to report. 2nd half Observing Specialist: J.Dembicky Observer noticed image elongation in 5 min spicam exposrues. I looked at the images and could also see elongation. Appeared to be in the Az direction. Telescope was at AZ=-103.0 Alt=54.5. Jeppe's mouse started acting funny, any movement over a slight push would send the pointer to the left edge of the screen. I had to restart my Jeppe session to fix the problem. Around 05:00 the keyboard started acting up (caps lock produced lower case characters, number keypad didn't work, arrows didn't work). Again I had to log out and back into Jeppe to fix the problem. No instrument or telescope problems. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM ---------------------------------------------------------------------- 18:10 SPIcam -25(71) 320 50 3.0 3.9 3.6 3.4 3.2 r' 0.98 19:06 SPIcam 0(84) 318 48 3.3 3.3 3.0 3.1 3.1 r' 1.10 00:03 SPIcam -25(16) -101 61 2.6 2.6 2.1 2.4 2.5 r' 0.8 00:12 NA2gdr-1649(31350) -101 59 2.4 2.5 2.0 2.2 2.3 R 0.9 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------- 16:01 43 21 13 242 (WSW) 289 mstly clr none 17:01 39 21 17 229 (SW) 527 clear none 18:01 38 20 19 237 (WSW) 488 mstly clr none 19:01 38 20 18 246 (WSW) 396 mstly clr none 20:01 39 19 13 242 (WSW) 472 mstly clr none 21:01 38 21 13 208 (SSW) 566 mstly clr none 22:01 38 22 17 209 (SSW) 601 mstly clr none 23:01 38 22 16 214 (SW) 508 mstly clr none 00:01 37 20 19 208 (SSW) 454 Mst. clr none 01:01 37 20 17 240 (WSW) 637 Pt.
