Rest of 1st half was fogged in and/or high humidity. Obs1 crashed tonight. It wasn't being used for anything at the time. I had a radar webpage up in the echelle account and another user had some things running in the arc account (I don't know what). At some point lines of text were running across the screen saying something about a failed kernel and needing to be restarted. I restarted it and everything seemed normal. 2nd Half Observing Specialist: R.McMillan Second half remained foggy. I spent a few hours working with archived data. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM --------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------- 16:01 43 44 10 265 (W) 18437 cloudy fog 17:01 42 43 9 291 (WNW) 28770 mstly cldy humid 18:01 42 42 9 296 (WNW) 2550 cloudy fog 19:01 42 42 10 284 (WNW) 18101 mstly cldy fog 20:01 41 41 17 300 (WNW) 19768 mstly cldy fog 21:01 41 41 15 288 (WNW) 105191 cloudy humid 22:01 41 41 11 270 (W) 22106 cloudy fog 23:01 41 41 18 266 (W) 34259 cloudy fog 23:01 41 41 18 266 (W) 34259 cloudy fog 00:01 41 41 16 271 (W) 65322 cloudy fog 01:01 41 42 19 280 (W) 18240 cloudy fog 02:01 42 42 17 279 (W) 10184 cloudy fog 03:01 41 41 18 273 (W) 34706 cloudy fog 04:01 41 41 18 265 (W) 10964 cloudy fog 05:01 41 41 21 284 (WNW) 15269 cloudy fog 06:01 41 41 12 265 (W) 65677 cloudy fog Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
