Lamps were reporting on (HeNeAr) when in reality they were all off. I did a tlamps status in TUI and got them to update correctly They died again about 21:40, this time the tlamps status trick didn't work at first, I got an error, but then the magically fixed themselves. Here was the error from the TUI log window. 03:45:24 139 tlamps status 03:45:31 CouldNotParse; Msg=u'APO.Jack 139 tlamps : lampNames=,,,,; lampStates=,,,'; Text='cannot find an undelimited word starting at 10 in :lampNames=,,,,; lampStates=,,,:' 03:45:39 140 tlamps status 03:45:46 CouldNotParse; Msg=u'APO.Jack 140 tlamps : lampNames=,,,,; lampStates=,,,'; Text='cannot find an undelimited word starting at 10 in :lampNames=,,,,; lampStates=,,,:'. Again at 22:06 the lamps were turned off but the TUI widget was not reporting them correctly. I again tried the tlamps status and got the same error as above, but this time they didn't come back. After waiting a couple minutes another tlamps status then fixed the problem. Seems we need to wait a couple mins to get the status to work correctly. 23:55 slitviewer hung, didn't want to guide in boresight guiding (kept hanging when it would do an offset). I switched to field star and it worked. I spent about 20 mins getting things to work. 04:56 The DISslit viewer freaked out (see dis slit image 1628). I did a restart of dcamera and dcam as well as an init and status and it brought it back to life. The next couple of images 1629-33 had some peculiar artifacts that looked to be maybe Camera related(?). The Slitviewer didn't give us anymore problems for the remainder of the night (1.5 hrs). ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- UW04 D I/S 23:55 00:15 DISslit kept hanging, PR submitted, workaround found UW04 D I/H 04:55 04:57 Slitcamera started displaying bad images (see image 1628) dcamera and dcam restarted. ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM ---------------------------------------------------------------------- 19:00 DISslit -150(-48) 89 64 6.8 9.5 8.2 7.8 7.2 none 1.2 19:17 DISslit -225(-145) 56 69 5.9 8.9 7.5 7.3 6.5 none 1.2 23:09 DISslit -50(6) -57 39 6.1 5.8 5.2 5.8 6.1 none 1.4 00:21 DISslit -100(-54) 45 39 5.8 5.6 5.2 5.5 5.7 none 1.2 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------- 16:01 48 20 5 294 (WNW) 202 clear none 17:01 47 25 5 271 (W) 267 clear none 18:01 46 22 6 288 (WNW) 232 clear none 19:01 44 23 4 312 (NW) 231 clear none 20:01 42 25 4 226 (SW) 291 clear none 21:01 43 27 5 246 (WSW) 250 clear none 22:01 43 26 7 186 (S) 298 clear none 23:01 43 27 8 223 (SW) 291 clear none 00:01 43 27 8 213 (SSW) 310 clear none 01:01 42 26 11 221 (SW) 294 clear none 02:01 42 27 8 211 (SSW) 291 clear none 03:01 41 28 10 232 (SW) 355 clear none 04:01 40 28 11 233 (SW) 398 clear none 05:01 39 29 12 232 (SW) 702 clear none 06:01 39 28 6 259 (W) 565 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
