The first half observer wanted to do some engineering tests with the instrument and software so I opened. They gave up due to poor conditions at 23:30, giving the rest of their time to the second half observer. The skies never completely cleared but thinned some second half. Seeing was moderate to poor. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ----------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM --------------------------------------------------------------------- 22:34 nicfps 125(1346) 281 29 4.6/4.2 17 7 MK-H 1.77 00:04 dis-slit 175(853) -2 63 5.1/4.3 5 6 - 1.29 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:01 44 8 16 261 (W) 668 cloudy none 17:01 42 -2 15 273 (W) 543 cloudy none 18:01 42 -4 14 291 (WNW) 464 cloudy none 19:01 41 -2 8 267 (W) 473 cloudy none 20:01 41 -1 7 296 (WNW) 484 cloudy none 21:01 41 -5 8 336 (NNW) 396 cloudy none 22:01 40 -5 8 28 (NNE) 375 mstly cldy none 23:01 39 -13 4 352 (N) 402 mstly cldy none 00:01 41 -19 4 19 (NNE) 220 mstly cldy none 01:01 43 -23 7 358 (N) 179 mstly cldy none 02:01 44 -23 8 0 (N) 94 mstly cldy none 03:01 40 -26 9 5 (N) 158 mstly cldy none 04:01 42 -23 8 345 (NNW) 109 mstly cldy none 05:01 43 -21 10 326 (NW) 103 mstly cldy none 06:01 43 -22 10 325 (NW) 115 mstly cldy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
