So did the telescope. For much of the night we had mostly clear skies with occasional high clouds, and moderate to poor seeing. The first half transient program was split between a little bit of GRB followup and payback for a program that lost time to the last GRB followup. After 03:00 more extensive clouds began to move in and thicken. The second half observer was unable to get any data after about 05:00, so he handed over to UW13 early. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ----------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM --------------------------------------------------------------------- 18:13 DISslit -50(634) 157 50 0.8/3.4 214 12 - 1.85 00:29 NA2gdr -2956(30043)212 66 0.4/-0.2 232 17 R 0.95 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:01 41 20 10 211 (SSW) 1073 mstly clr none 17:01 37 19 12 213 (SSW) 1180 mstly clr none 18:01 34 23 15 232 (SW) 1375 mstly clr none 19:01 32 24 4 182 (S) 1830 mstly clr none 20:01 34 9 10 220 (SW) 1245 clear none 21:01 34 10 10 234 (SW) 1313 clear none 22:01 35 5 19 231 (SW) 1421 mstly clr none 23:01 33 11 14 212 (SSW) 1288 mstly clr none 00:01 33 8 19 222 (SW) 1103 mstly clr none 01:01 33 5 16 235 (SW) 1134 mstly clr none 02:01 33 4 15 239 (WSW) 1032 clear none 03:01 32 6 11 217 (SW) 1123 ptly cldy none 04:01 32 22 16 203 (SSW) 1306 ptly cldy none 05:01 34 18 15 208 (SSW) 1147 ptly cldy none 06:01 33 15 13 222 (SW) 1098 ptly cldy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
