It was slow going because of the clouds. We got tired of waiting for anykind of a suckerhole and I finally closed at 23:00. By 01:00 the snow showers started, by 03:00 the ground was white and accumulation of cars in the parking lot was observed. I sent my observer home under the understanding that I would call if condtions improved. They never did. I gave up at 05:00 ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ----------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Air/Truss Wind Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp-C Dir MPH filt FWHM --------------------------------------------------------------------- 20:38 nicfps 268(1095) -88 76 -0.7/-0.9 84 15 - 1.91 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:01 42 5 2 105 (ESE) 962 mstly cldy none 17:01 37 -2 15 76 (ENE) 761 mstly cldy none 18:01 33 -3 19 73 (ENE) 660 mstly cldy none 19:01 31 -3 15 84 (E) 658 mstly cldy none 20:01 31 -1 15 88 (E) 702 mstly cldy none 21:01 31 4 18 83 (E) 1121 cloudy none 22:01 31 4 20 109 (ESE) 1288 cloudy none 23:01 31 8 18 116 (ESE) 1330 cloudy none 00:01 33 13 17 114 (ESE) 1530 cloudy none 01:01 31 24 17 118 (ESE) 2268 cloudy snow showers 02:01 33 20 22 127 (SE) 1417 cloudy snow showers 03:01 28 25 14 112 (ESE) 2301 cloudy snow showers 04:01 29 28 21 121 (ESE) 922 cloudy snow showers 05:01 31 31 24 139 (SE) 460 cloudy snow showers Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
